Privacy Policy

Protecting your personal data is a priority for Look AI me. This policy describes what data we collect, why we collect it, and what your rights are under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

2. Data collected

2.1 Scoring tool and newsletter

When you use our scoring tool or sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address. This data is used to send you your result, resources related to AI visibility, and our editorial communications if you have consented.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (sending scoring results) and consent (newsletter). You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in each email.

2.2 Orders and Stripe data

When you place an order, payment is processed by Stripe Inc. We receive from Stripe a payment confirmation containing your email address and order details (product, amount, date). We do not store your banking data — this is managed exclusively by Stripe under their own privacy policy.

Legal basis: performance of contract. This data is necessary to process your order, deliver the products ordered and issue refunds if necessary.

2.3 Diagnostic form

After ordering a diagnostic or action plan, you fill in a context form containing information about your business (website, sector, offerings, competitors, geographic area). This data is used exclusively to produce your report.

3. Retention periods

We retain your data for the following periods:

  • Email addresses (newsletter): until unsubscription or deletion request.
  • Order data: 7 years from the order date, in accordance with Belgian accounting and tax obligations.
  • Diagnostic form data: 12 months after report delivery, then deleted.
  • Scoring data: 90 days from submission.

4. Data sharing

Your data is not sold or transferred to third parties for commercial purposes. It may be transmitted to the following technical service providers, strictly to the extent necessary to provide the service:

  • Stripe Inc. (payment processing) — United States, adherent to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Vercel Inc. (hosting and analytics) — United States, adherent to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
  • Supabase Inc. (database) — data hosted in Europe (EU region).
  • Resend Inc. (transactional email sending) — United States.

These transfers outside the EU are governed by appropriate safeguards in accordance with the GDPR (standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms).

5. Cookies and trackers

The website lookaime.com uses Vercel Analytics, an audience analysis tool that does not place cookies on your browser and does not track you across other sites. Data collected (pages visited, duration, country of origin) is aggregated and anonymised.

We use no marketing cookies, no advertising retargeting tools and no Google Analytics service.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access: obtain a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure: request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations).
  • Right to data portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object: object to processing based on our legitimate interest.
  • Right to withdraw consent: withdraw your consent to marketing communications at any time.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (APD): autoriteprotectiondonnees.be.

7. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. Connections to the site are encrypted via HTTPS. Access to data is limited to those who need it to provide the service.
